About

Manish Sanga is a London-based composer for film and media, with credits across Amazon Prime Video, feature films, short films, documentaries, and commercials.

A classically trained musician, Manish has over a decade of experience in guitar and piano, holding ABRSM Grade 8 in both guitar and music theory, as well as a Level 5 certificate in Carnatic singing. He attended The Purcell School, a specialist music school in Hertfordshire, supported by the UK Music and Dance Scheme scholarship. His passion for composition deepened after becoming the youngest winner of the Royal Opera House Fanfare Composition Competition in 2018.

Manish’s music has been recorded by the world-renowned London Symphony Orchestra, under the mentorship of Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Portman. He arranged and orchestrated for Grammy Award-winning artist Corinne Bailey Rae’s Roundhouse concert featuring music from her album Black Rainbows, performed with the Guildhall Session Orchestra. He also served as an arranger/orchestrator for Adekunle Gold’s headline performance at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the London Jazz Festival.

His screen work includes the Amazon Original series Inspector Rishi, where he produced the album song “Urai Pani Naan” and worked as assistant music producer on the background score. He has also collaborated with animators and filmmakers from the London Film Academy and UAL’s Central Saint Martins, providing original scores for a range of short films and animated projects.

Manish is currently pursuing his BMus in Film Music at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
